Laura Krivickas, a native of central Florida, has built a distinguished career in law marked by dedication and perseverance. After earning her bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida in 2012, she spent nearly a decade as a paralegal, focusing on criminal defense and family law. During this time, she gained invaluable experience and developed a deep understanding of the legal field.
In 2023, Laura achieved her juris doctor from Florida A&M University College of Law, all while balancing full-time work as a paralegal and attending law classes at night. Her commitment to the legal profession was evident through her active involvement at FAMU Law Review, where she was elected to the editorial board. In this role, she mentored junior editors in honing their legal writing skills. Additionally, Laura chaired the Student Bar Association’s curriculum committee, evaluating and recommending curriculum improvements based on student feedback. As a student ambassador, she facilitated the transition for incoming students, offering guidance and support.
Graduating cum laude and ranking 4th in her class, Laura has now joined LAR Legal Group. At LAR Legal Group, she focuses on Civil Litigation and Criminal Defense, bringing her extensive experience and dedication to her new role.
