As a former prosecutor he was assigned to various units within the State Attorney’s Office, including the DUI, Juvenile and Felony Drug Divisions. As a prosecutor, Mr. Morelli tried dozens of cases as lead attorney and handled complex criminal matters – including organized crime.
After spending nearly three years as a prosecutor, Mr. Morelli switched to civil litigationfor a prominent Orlando, Florida law firm. That is where he gained experience as an insurance defense attorney handling homeowners insurance claim as well as defending medical professionals, hospitals and other healthcare facilities.
Mr. Morelli was born and raised in Sao Paulo Brazil and is fluent in Portuguese. He earned his law degree from The University of Tennessee College of Law and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida.
